This week, we are sending you something a little different. It is important to us that our supporters, volunteers, partners, and donors have a full understanding of our position as an organization.

This brief report is designed to give you an impression of where we stand with our largest projects, how we are faring in terms of our annual fund development, and to see the actions we have taken to keep our staff safe and keep our projects moving forward.

I hope to leave you with just a few impressions by passing along this report:
  • Our full staff has been ready and willing to make sacrifices to keep the SBLC sound during this time by adapting our work plan and doing all of the SBLC's fieldwork ourselves, without a summer crew, volunteers, or contractors.
  • We have created new products like the vacant land survey tool, a huge undertaking that we believe will add real value to the efforts to revitalize Saginaw.
  • We have been keeping our promises and moving our projects in Bay, Arenac, and Saginaw Counties forward as best we can with COVD-19 restrictions in place.
  • We have been making careful decisions to preserve our resources, make our organization even more efficient, and be ready for whatever comes next.

Please click on the report below and look at the higher resolution PDF to see how the SBLC is doing and better understand how you can help.

With hope for our community and an open heart,

Zachary Branigan

Executive Director
