The Saginaw Basin Field Guide
The Saginaw Basin Field Guide has been a popular SBLC resource for the past three years. The first and second editions were pocket-sized books highlighting the SBLC's nature preserves, and were about 30 pages in length.
This time around, with the help of Consumer's Energy and the CZM program at the Michigan DEQ's Office of the Great Lakes, we are happy to present an all-new book! The 48-page third edition of the Field Guide is double the length, and double the page size (6 inches by 9 inches). It includes detailed information about the SBLC's nature preserves, but also on 31 other sites featured in our region as part of the Saginaw Bay Birding Trail. It features plenty of full-page photography, and a feature on the O.U.R. Project. We are very proud to present this Field Guide to you, free of charge! Just stop by our office, join us at an SBLC event, or volunteer for the SBLC! You can also download the full guide in PDF form using the button below. |
